Earth Connections is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to implement positive change through hands-on learning about, caring for and interacting with the environment and animals. We believe that conservation begins with education. We strive to provide individuals with information and resources to enable them to make environmentally sound choices in their everyday lives. 

Our programs include Equine Assisted Learning (EAL), Equine Assisted Counseling (EAC), teen leadership camps, mentoring, after school enrichment, tours, classes, scout badge programs, and more.

If you ask the question, "What is a 4-H Horse Project ?" of ten different members, you are likely to get ten different answers. A 4-H Horse Project can be tailored to fit the needs of any young person wishing to learn about any aspect of horses. A Project is designed to be a hands-on learning experience for members in which they obtain first-hand knowledge about the subject they are studying. Any adult who is willing to access resource people to help the members learn can run a Horse Project - you do NOT have to be a trainer or professional horse person - in fact most of us aren't! The Leader can schedule meetings anywhere home, arena, barn, Vet hospital, equine related event - you name it!
